Keep variant identification separate
Open Roots only through an identified snapshot match. The viewer does not decide that a numbered stage is Roots by comparing it with another biome’s usual slot. No variant or sequence is inferred from a filename.
Retain the original context
When reporting an unfamiliar view, include the snapshot and stage instead of renaming it from memory. A correction can then be checked against the exact image and source labels.
