Orient the view before following a marker
For an identified Shore view, first fit the image and compare the broad outline with your scene. The image is a camera projection, not a navigation grid. Screen distance is not a measurement of climbing distance.
Start with a small selection
Choose a single category, then select one record from the list. This keeps the initial view readable while you compare the source image. The stage’s position in a file list is not used as proof that it is Shore.
